 Bollywood In-House Quiz

 There is never a dull day at the University Film Club! On the 22nd of March this year, the members of UFC were in for lots of fun, with interesting activities for all. Starting the forum with a ‘Critical Analysis’ section, the activity soon moved on to the more-awaited and dramatic… Bollywood In-House Quiz!

Club members divided themselves into 5 groups, and had done their analyses together as well. It would be a lie to call the participants uncompetitive, because soon enough everyone was fighting for their lives to complete the engaging quiz as quickly and accurately as possible. The team names weren’t boring either, we had teams named Team Maggi, Team Blueski, Team Trio, Team Avengers, and Team Chaibaaz!

The questions in the quiz were very interesting and of a large variety, ranging from names of movies based on hints, to record movies such as first coloured Bollywood movie [spoiler alert: it is ‘Kisan Kanya’, 1937 ;)], and even names of characters in iconic films. Our groups raced to finish the quiz, and based on their critical analysis as well as their quiz results, we had our winner! Scoring a whopping 32/40, Team Trio won! First runner-up was very close behind, with just one point less we had Team Blueski. Right after them with 30/40 was Team Avengers. Then were Team Maggi and Team Chaibaaz, who might’ve lost the quiz but won for best team names! Of course, what is a competition without a reward, a cool present awaited the members of the winning team Trio.

The ‘Critical Analysis’ forum and ‘In-House Quiz’ fun activity was a great success, and the participants enjoyed it thoroughly. Such games are necessary for teamwork building and to increase engagement within the club, so it was a blast to watch all members having lots of fun. Activities like these will be on-going, so be on a lookout for more upcoming insider reports!
