 UFC Membership Interviews - Session 2022-23

University Film Club membership interview, dated 6th December, 2022

On the 6th of December, 2022, the University Film Club (UFC) conducted the board interviews for the upcoming session of the year 2022-23. The purpose of this intensive session was to evaluate and gauge out the new members for the UFC, as well as to expose them to the essential workings of the club. The interview session was divided into two parts and lasted from 1pm to 6pm, in the VIP Lounge of the Kennedy Auditorium, CEC Complex.

The participants were judged on the grounds of the various domains that come under film-making and club-functioning; cinematography, graphics, directing, acting, content-creation, scripting, critical-analysis, reviews, post-production, and event-management. They were evaluated by the existing and senior members of the club, who comprised the whole panel.

Apart from the analytical questions and survey, the experienced members also offered fresh perspectives and advice to the candidates who were curious, as some of the students were new to the university and the extra-curricular activities it offers. A lot of the participants showcased their experience, some through videos, reels, scripts, and even poetry!

The students showed great talent and skill in their preferred realms but were also very interested in expanding their horizons to other sections of film-making. All of the candidates were very enthusiastic to learn more on film-production and become a part of the UFC Family!
